Most every Thursday Night throughout the Summer (June 17th - September 2nd, 2010), you should check out downtown Erie as they close off an entire street section for a huge Block Party! These events draw over 25,000 people downtown on Thursday nights and also raise thousands of dollars for Erie charities. Local bands celebrate the Summer in grand fashion with this traveling street party. Rain or shine, these events are FREE and it's always a good idea to get there early if you want a street table.
